Castaheany Community Centre will host an open day of family entertainment on Saturday the 3rd of September. The entertainment will include a magic show, face painting, music, and a live radio broadcast from Phoenix FM.
The Mayor of Fingal, Howard Mahony, will also be in attendance on the day which will be a great opportunity to see all that is on offer for community groups, and families in Castaheany.
Castaheany Community Centre have also launched new branding. The logo is based on the design by 6th class student Teofana Muraru in Mary Mother of Hope School who won a competition to design the Centre’s logo.
Over 55s Information Event held in Mountview Community and Sports Hub
A very enjoyable day was had at the Over 55s Information Event this Thursday in Mountview. There was a great turn out from the local community seeking information about the services in their area.
A number of stands were set up in the hall by organisations who provide local services for older people. Among the organisations present were the HSE, An Garda Síochána, Age Action, as well as representatives from The Fingal Community Development Office and Fingal Age Friendly.
