Discover the marine flora and fauna at Fingal’s beaches this August with Marine Biologist, Mona McCrea. You’ll be digging in the sand and searching in rock pools for plants and animals. Participants will learn about marine litter and the importance of a clean beach, climate change & dune restoration.
To book tickets, simply visit Dublin, Ireland Explore The Seashore Events | Eventbrite and find your local beach. The workshops takes approximately 1.5 hours and is suitable for all ages from 5 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Community Centre’s World Cup photos
Rivervalley CC hosted a great intergenerational event for the start of the Women’s World Cup 2023 where the entire community got together to support the GOYGIG. The result was disappointing but the event was enjoyed by all with pictures below. Roll on the next game!, everyone’s invited.

Continuing with the theme of sustainability and in order to address the environmental impact of the textile industry and to reduce the economic costs to families, Lusk Community Cultural Centre invite you to their first ever School Uniform Swap Shop! Items can be dropped into the Cultural Centre or The Cottage Community Centre up to Monday the 14th of August with the event taking place on Wednesday the 16th of August from 9.30am – 11.30am.
