Re-opening of Centres

Blakestown Community Centre

Monday September 20th saw the re-opening of Fingal Community Centres to welcome back their community groups and users. Under government guidelines indoor groups were allowed to gather and function which meant the welcome return of many activity groups such as dance, drama, senior citizens groups and sports clubs. The easing of restrictions also meant the return of many staff members to their workplaces in the facilities after a long hiatus.

As facilities get back to providing these services for the communities and the remobilistation group from Community Facilities Network continue to assess progress , it is hoped further easing of restrictions as planned on the October 22 as per government guidelines will lead to more activities and services being resumed in the more familiar fashion communities have been accustomed to.
