This Sunday the 11th of September, Ongar Community Centre will host their annual fun day. Some of the exciting activities kids can enjoy on the day include: face painting, crazy golf, and multi sports. Running from 2pm-5pm, the day is sure to be a great day for families.
The Centre are encouraging the community to go green and leave the car at home. Admission is only €1 and the proceeds will go towards running future events.
Sports Ability Day
Dublin’s first Sports Ability Day is coming up soon.
It is a free event suitable for people with a disability, parents, teachers, sports coaches, youth club leaders, students, volunteers and anyone with an interest in sport for people of all abilities. It will be an interactive and inclusive day with demonstrations and information on inclusive and adaptive sports and most importantly lots of fun!

Mini Climate Festival
Come along to the Mini-Climate Festival on Saturday 17th Sept in Millennium Park (beside the Playground) from 11-4pm. You can get a bike repaired by cycle mechanics (or buy a second-hand bicycle) from the Rediscovery Centre.
Studio Minti will sell a fabulous range of sustainable pre-loved clothes and run a swap shop 2-4pm. You can listen to sustainable fashion tips from Circular Fashion expert Carrie Ann Moran who will tell us how to reduce our fashion emissions.
There will be workshops on Composting and Food Waste and a tour of the Community Garden at 2pm. Music will be played all day on pre-loved instruments. Fingal Active Travel will run free rides on the Trishaw! With the Fingal Climate Action Team you can calculate your Carbon footprint and learn tips on how to reduce your emissions. It’s all free!!
