Opportunity – Gardening & Biodiversity workshops for 3 Community groups

In order to provide funding, Fingal County Council’s Environment Department are seeking groups that are struggling with introducing gardening and biodiversity.

It would consist of 3 groups in total, the three groups would get a workshop visit once per month for 8 months – leading to a full rollout of their plans. Please contact your area’s Community Development Officer to express your interest.

Social Enterprise Development Fund 2023

Applications are still open for the €4.4 million Social Enterprise Development Fund. The fund aims to support not-for-profit organisations working to scale and grow their social impact.

The Fund is open for applications until the 24th of February 2023 at 1pm. Please see Rethink’s website for more information on who is eligible to apply and how to submit your online application.

A new Sports hub started last Saturday in Flemington Community Centre and the first week was a sell-out success. The Centre hopes that from the success of this session, they can start a new children’s community sport club weekly. Contact Flemington Community Centre for more information.
