Over 30 Community Centres from the Fingal Community Facilities Network were visited by Fingal County Council’s Community Development Office and Environment Office during April and May to assist with the Waste Management phase of Fingal’s #KeenToBeGreen Facilities Project.
By signing up to Fingal’s Keen To Be Green Facilities Charter, the community facilities in Fingal have demonstrated their commitment to sustainable climate action. The project aims to bring about vital change in the community and create greater awareness around action in local communities across Fingal.
After completing the waste management phase, the project will move into areas such as water conservation, energy efficiency, transport and biodiversity.
