Keen To Be Green Communities organised a Green Festival in Flemington Community Centre Balbriggan to celebrate Climate Action Week 2024.
Promoting wider community engagement and Keen To Be Green’s 5 Core themes; Waste Management, Water Conservation, Energy Efficiency, Biodiversity and Transport. The event was an opportunity to also deliver on the community focused objectives within FCC Climate Action Strategy 2024 – 2029. With a number of workshops such as the Cool Food School engaging children on reducing food waste, upcycling waste material, a swap shop, bike repair station, biodiversity workshop and information stands. The event was well attended and a great success as can be seen in the video below.
