Random Acts of Kindness Week

Fingal Councillors recently passed a motion to promote kindness in Fingal in February, and to help support that we will be running a Random Acts of Kindness Week from 13-17 February. This campaign will be publicised in conjunction with Phoenix FM as one of our local community outlets, with listeners asked to call in with their examples of what they’ve done. Alongside this, the initiative will be promoted through the Council’s various social media channels.

During the week we’re aware that some locations – such as Baldoyle – will be busy baking some Cakes for Kindness through their contacts. While kindness takes many easy forms, if that idea appeals to you and there is an opportunity to do so, you may like to do something similar with a view to handing out cakes (or cards etc.) on International Kindness Day which takes place on 17th February itself.

If you do anything, please make sure you tag the various Fingal social media channels (LIST) and please use the hashtag (#handsupforkindness).

Please email with any inquiries.
